Free time

It was my turn again to be at Ateljeekatu today. This was the slowest day that I have been there. We had only 4 customers come in. That just meant I had lots of time to do everything I had planed for today. 

Somebody had combined a dress that I had made with Shadows by Tiina Rikala products and I think they go really well together. Don't you think so? 

The dress looks very different from what I would usually make but I really liked the fabric. It has a print that looks like sequins. You can make the lower part look more puffy by wearing a petticoat underneath. There is also a bodycon version for sale at Ateljeekatu made from this same fabric. 

I had time so make something new for sale so I ended up making this voodoo doll necklace out of recycled materials. There is only 1 available and it is at Ateljeekatu for sale.

 I have wanted to make Ouija beanie for a while now I finally I was able to find time and left over black cotton jersey to make it. I think it looks really nice. I better make one for me to wear. These are 15 € + shipping a piece.

Yesterdays outfit

Well TAFF was last night. I met really interesting people and had fun. The fashion show Latex by Tiina Rikala was really cool and interesting. I missed pole dancing show by Claudia A. Noire because I was eating in the terrace at the same time. Good thing I was able to see her practice run before the event started. I had to be at the Pakkahuone by 18.00 and I was back at home 02.30.

I was able to sell few items from my table. There was not as many sellers than I had thought but then again the event was not just about selling and buying so there would have not been enough room for more sellers. All the sellers have really different kinds of products so there was a nice contrasts between sellers.

 I was really pleased with my full look. I had braided my hair on the other side. I was really happy with the hair. And it still today looks good because I have not washed it yet.

 The vest I had made out of left over fabric from my previous projects. The fabric is taffeta and it has light leopard print on it that you can't really see at least not in the front side because of all the pleating. The vest shifts color from orange to burgundy. The dress was really comfortable to wear all evening/night even thought it was faux leather. Also the shoes were really comfortable and I had no problem carrying all my stuff to Pakkahuone. 

I got lots of help from my friends and I would have not been able to make this happen without them.

I can't wait to see the Taff photo booth pictures taken of me and and my friends.

Outfits for TAFF

This was a custom order to be worn by my client at Tampere Fetish Factory event on this Saturday. 

I made the vest already last week but then the customer requested a skirt to go with it. She is going to wear it with a corset that she already had and I made everything to go with it. 

 I really like the whole outfit and it looked amazing with the steampunk themed corset that has the same golden/green color to it. 

The skirt is going to look much more puffy when worn with a petticoat. I made the vest so that it can be worn also with normal day wear with a dress or a top and it does not look too extravagant. 

I was really lucky to find this taffeta fabric from Euronkangs because the color is sooooo close to the color on the corset. And it was only 5,90 €/meter! The pleating takes so much time and fabric so it was a good thing that I found a fabric that was that cheap. 

She is going to look so amazing in this. I can't wait to see what other people are wearing.

I super much like this head piece that I made. I think all the shades of brown and green are going together nicely.

 I putted small metal tassels for the nipple pasties so that they look a little bit more burlesque styled. 

 There is also pleating in the back side around the neck and in the hem.

Antlers

Good morning to all on this very misty day. While preparing to go to TAFF I've also been making something for me. Mr. Grumpy said that today I really should stay in the bed so that I would not be sick on Saturday. Well I did stay in the bed 30 minutes longer after he had left to work. It is 25 minutes longer than yesterday. I don't wanna waste time in bed when I have lots to do. Good thing is that I'm feeling little better this morning than in the last few days.

I made this new printing screen with deer antlers. I clearly like antlers a lot especially deer antlers. 

I was supposed to make this first top before summer but I've lots of other stuff to do so I did not have enough time for everything. But it is finally done!

I used it in two tops. I think I still might use it for one old grey long sleeved shirt that I have in my closet and then I might use it more. Especially now when the weathers are getting colder.

This white top is made by me and I'm going to wear it with black high waist skirt. The fabric for this top I bought from Eurokangas few months back.

 This dark grey top I bought from H&M for 3,75€ I had -25% coupon. I was going to paint the antlers on to the darker version also in black but Misantrella suggested that I should use silver and I think she was absolutely right. This looks very cool with waterfall cardigan and high waist skirt.

Lots to do

 I'm still sick but I don't seem to be able to lay still when I have so much to do. Still few customer orders need to be finished for the TAFF. I still need to go get fabric and other supply for one skirt and few pairs of nipple pasties. I think I should write everything down that I still need to do so that I don't forget anything.

Well at last the leg harness type 1 is finally here. I have one pair of these in stock! This pair is size M which fits best when your leg circumference is 50-54 cm. This measurement is for the middle part of your thigh. You don't want it to be too loose or too tight. I can make these in any size.

Spikes are acrylic. I did not but any spikes in the backside because it might be quite uncomfortable to sit down with the spikes digging into your leg.

Price for these is 22 €/pair.

I'll be making more different types as soon as my garter clips arrive. Also I might make few without the clip. The clips are quite expensive so the the harnesses without the clip should be slightly cheaper.

I bought this college shirt from H&M and decided to make it more my own looking by screen printing the Ouija board into it. I think it will be good for fall weathers. I wish the sleeves would be longer because that always seems to be the problem for me. That's why I make extra long sleeves for the clothes that I make.

Sickness and samples

I've been sick with the flu for few days now. And it is not fun. I should be making products for sale but instead a sit computer all day just staring the screen. I really bad at staying in bed even thought I am sick. Good thing I still have few days to finish my products for TAFF.
