Antlers

Good morning to all on this very misty day. While preparing to go to TAFF I've also been making something for me. Mr. Grumpy said that today I really should stay in the bed so that I would not be sick on Saturday. Well I did stay in the bed 30 minutes longer after he had left to work. It is 25 minutes longer than yesterday. I don't wanna waste time in bed when I have lots to do. Good thing is that I'm feeling little better this morning than in the last few days.

I made this new printing screen with deer antlers. I clearly like antlers a lot especially deer antlers. 

I was supposed to make this first top before summer but I've lots of other stuff to do so I did not have enough time for everything. But it is finally done!

I used it in two tops. I think I still might use it for one old grey long sleeved shirt that I have in my closet and then I might use it more. Especially now when the weathers are getting colder.

This white top is made by me and I'm going to wear it with black high waist skirt. The fabric for this top I bought from Eurokangas few months back.

 This dark grey top I bought from H&M for 3,75€ I had -25% coupon. I was going to paint the antlers on to the darker version also in black but Misantrella suggested that I should use silver and I think she was absolutely right. This looks very cool with waterfall cardigan and high waist skirt.

Lots to do

 I'm still sick but I don't seem to be able to lay still when I have so much to do. Still few customer orders need to be finished for the TAFF. I still need to go get fabric and other supply for one skirt and few pairs of nipple pasties. I think I should write everything down that I still need to do so that I don't forget anything.

Well at last the leg harness type 1 is finally here. I have one pair of these in stock! This pair is size M which fits best when your leg circumference is 50-54 cm. This measurement is for the middle part of your thigh. You don't want it to be too loose or too tight. I can make these in any size.

Spikes are acrylic. I did not but any spikes in the backside because it might be quite uncomfortable to sit down with the spikes digging into your leg.

Price for these is 22 €/pair.

I'll be making more different types as soon as my garter clips arrive. Also I might make few without the clip. The clips are quite expensive so the the harnesses without the clip should be slightly cheaper.

I bought this college shirt from H&M and decided to make it more my own looking by screen printing the Ouija board into it. I think it will be good for fall weathers. I wish the sleeves would be longer because that always seems to be the problem for me. That's why I make extra long sleeves for the clothes that I make.

Sickness and samples

I've been sick with the flu for few days now. And it is not fun. I should be making products for sale but instead a sit computer all day just staring the screen. I really bad at staying in bed even thought I am sick. Good thing I still have few days to finish my products for TAFF.

Skelly dress

 Few days now I've been making custom orders for TAFF and I have not been able to write new posts. Also next week will be quite hasty since TAFF is on Saturday so I need to make few pair more of the nipple pasties, few hair clips and few pairs of leg harnesses.

So I finally I got my skully dress that I have been dreaming of for months. 

The shape of the dress is very different from what I usually make, but this time I really wanted to step out of my comfort zone. I found exactly the kind of fabric that I was looking for from Eurokangas fabric bins once again. Price for the fabric was 25 €/kg so it cost around 15 €.

I drew, edited and programmed the picture for the embroidery machine and my mom embroidered the picture for me since she took the machine with her on her last visit. She said that it took 3,5 hours for the machine to make the skull. But I really think it was worth it since it looks awesome. I wanted to use black on black so that the picture does not jump out too much.

I really need to use this skull print for different projects since I went through the trouble of programming the picture. Because that also takes so much time.

Fall is depressing

 Very simple shirt for fall. I made this out of the left over fabric that I had from my previous bondage top project. If somebody remembers.

I wanted to keep the shape simple so that it does not take the focus from the fabric. I had huge problems on deciding between big loose collar or big loose hood. So because I've been making lots of tops with the hood I ended up going the collar.

If the fabric would not have been so see through I would have made this a dress. I think that would have been the best option for this project. And I think I would have more usage for a dress.

Not to worry since it will be nice to wear this with a pair of pants or a skirt. I think I might put a belt on top of this to give it something extra.

I still have small amount of this fabric so I think it will be some sort of front side of a top. I need to try draw something if I would get some ideas for it.

Sundays are for Steampunk.

This Sunday has been dedicated for making products for TAFF. Good thing that I still have two weeks to make more products for sale. I don't know yet how much or even what I'll be making.

Oh did somebody say they want leg harnesses? We'll see if I get inspired to make few different kinds for sale.

I has small amount of the metallic red vinyl so I made these two collars. They are different sizes. There is black press stud in the front for closure. I think I might make few of these in black if somebody is interested. 

These are 15 € a piece.

I took a challenge and made my first pair of nipple pasties. I think they came out very nicely. Don't you think? Of course I made these also with the same steampunk theme in mind.

Then I started making this hair clip for me even thought I already had one made. I don't know yet which one I like more. Or maybe I should make a third one with this shape and out of that brown fake snake print leather. Well haven't decided yet but if I end up making a third one this also will be for sale. I really like all of these and it is making me wonder why I haven't made any before. Or why doesn't my closet have any brown colored clothing and accessories.

And how does this day end? Well my finger tips have glue all over so much that it feels very weird to write with my laptop. I have copper and black colored paint all over my hands and of course my hands smell very metallic. Good job. Yeah I should really practice this sort of crafts.

Products for TAFF

Today is all about making products for my stand at TAFF. 

I made this simple red vinyl bolero for sale. It is last of my metallic red vinyl that I had bought from Tekstiilipalvelu when I was still a student few years ago. I really like the quality of the fabric because it does not break when stretched. The picture does not do justice to the fabric since you can't see that it really is metallic and the color looks really cool in real life. 

Again the bolero does not sit well on the mannequin since the doll does not have proper shoulder or arms. I wish I would have been able to make the sleeves more puffy but because this was the rest of my fabric that I had it was not possible. I still have really small piece of the vinyl so I might be able to make some kind of hair accessory. I don't know what it will be but I think I'll figure something out eventually.

So this bolero fits size S and costs 35 € + shipping.
