I guess you liked my crossed bones top and shorts since I got so many orders already. I can also make crop top, dress or a skirt if you are interested.

I made this cool red dress for summer. I have made also a maxi dress from different fabric. Both fabrics I bought from Estonia last summer so I finally made something from them. I was a little hesitant of the red fabric but I think it works fine here. This could look really cool also from just black tricot with maybe few spikes around the neckline. Yes I know me always with the god damn spikes. I just can't help it. Maybe I'll grow out of them eventually....but not yet.

I made the shorts last week but what I didn't tell you was that I also made a hooded top. ;)
I'm also planing on making some kind of dress with this print. I haven't designed it yet so I don't yet know what it is going to be like. I made this top for me but I can make more of it upon request.

What kind of posts would you like to see from me? Tutorials of some sort, current obsessions, design ideas?

Sneak Peek

I've been doing some new product designing with Bones & Lilies. We haven't set the release date yet but I assure you it won't be long wait.

There will be tops, skirts and tote bags. The tops and skirts will be available in sizes S, M and L. Upon request I can also make sizes XS and XL. The tote bags will be 30 cm x 40 cm.

Current obsessions

I went to the post office yesterday to pick up two pairs of really nice shoes for summer. I did not even remember buying the second pair because it took two weeks for them to arrive from the UK. As soon as I opened the package at the post office I remembered Oh right I did buy these!

First pair is these cool spiky booties. The heel isn't too high for me so they are really nice to walk in. The spikes aren't too heavy like they are in Jeffrey Campbell's.
I had been looking at these in Ebay for so long but did not have the courage to buy them because so many Ebay shoes are actually a lot smaller than the size tag tell you. Well these happened to be right size for me. Yay! Ebay sellers have sold these for very different prices from 45 £ - 9,99 £.
I paid 12 € plus 5 € for shipping. So not bad at all. These are also better quality than I had expected.

 The second pair is Melissa flats. They are something I would not usually buy but I thought that I won't be wearing heels all summer so this is what I found by accident. They are made out of rubber. Really interesting. And of course they have spikes on them. Why else would I buy them? You need to have spikes... I think I'm a bit obsessed about spikes. :)

Crossed bones and planing future

I know I haven't posted anything recently. I've been designing new products and doing some soul searching. After my trip to Tokyo I've been slightly depressed to be back in Finland. Slowly but surely I'm getting back on my feet.

I made these shorts today. I've been planing making these for so long and finally got my boyfriend to use the copier at his workplace to print the picture on a plastic sheet so I was able to finish the screen which I use to make the cross bone print to the fabric.
It was so hard to focus the camera all by myself.
Would you want these cool shorts for summer? I think I should make more of these. They are about 95 % cotton and 5 % elastane. So very soft, breathable and stretchy.
